In defense of drunk driving

Article Abstract:

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) are both campaigning for the blood alcohol content (BAC) for a DUI to be lowered from .1 percent to .08 percent. Studies show that 60 percent of fatal accidents which occur do not involve alcohol. Lowering the BAC cotent regulations will not prevent fatal accidents, rather raise the number of people arrested for DUI and bring more money to organizations like MADD.
