An age all set to disappear

Article Abstract:

There can be significant problems associated with updating to new formats of information. In particular, there is a danger that some information will be lost for ever. The more widespread used of advanced technology means that data is bring stored in an increasingly wide range of formats, and storage complications can arise when documents contain links to databases or spreadsheet files. Digital formats are regarded as carrying less information and a lower bandwidth than their analog counterparts.

A woman writer describes her disgust and dismay at the punishment of her friend, a writer and college professor, for drunken remarks he made to students at a campus party. The charge of sexual harassment based only on his words and not any action, was an unfair infringement of free speech.
