Volkswagen's new-style Beetle has attracted considerable attention. The new model is very popular in New York, NY, where there is particular demand for yellow or silver versions. This car is also very popular in California, and there would be very strong demand in the UK if Volkswagen were to make a right-hand-drive version. It appears that many people are transferring to the New Beetle the deep, powerful feelings they had about the original version. However, the new version will never sell in such large numbers as the old one, as single models no longer sell in such vast quantities.
