College funded a life of luxury with fees fiddle and must now repay 9m pounds sterling

Article Abstract:

An inquiry by the Further Education Funding Council has revealed that Halton College in Widnes, England, has been involved in a large-scale fraud. The college must now repay 9 million pounds sterling in government fees, and more than 170 staff will be made redundant.
