After a year of gaffes, Hague celebrates with a day in bed

Article Abstract:

UK Conservative party leader William Hague has made many mistakes during his first year in office. He has been badly advised about his image, and has come across as rather bland, even though those who know him well emphasize that he is actually intelligent, mature and confident. He has tried too hard to be fashionable, when his physical image is very far from fashionable. It is hard to imagine how he will be able to improve on this situation in his second year in office.
