Pre-holiday shopping habits

Article Abstract:

Holidays are a major stimulus to the purchase of luggage, sunglasses, winter sporting goods and travel accessories. Holiday shopping is influenced by the UK weather and the recent publicity about the harmful effects of UV light has boosted certain categories such as sunglasses, and suncare preparations. Holiday shopping is seen as an important part of the fun of the holiday, and the highest levels of purchase came from families on a strict budget.
