Gambler guilty of football sabotage

Article Abstract:

Wai Yuen Liu has been found guilty in a trial relating to a soccer gambling scam in Britain. A syndicate linked to Triad gangsters has interfered with two soccer matches by turning off the floodlights so the game had to be stopped. Liu was found guilty of plotting sabotage at a soccer match involving Liverpool and Charlton Athletic in the 1998-1999 season. He was discovered with two Malaysians at the soccer ground of Charlton Athletic in Feb 1999.

Have police finally solved the mystery of Noye's missing Brink's-Mat gold?

Article Abstract:

Officers from the Scotland Yard Flying Squad have begun searching in a warehouse in Hastings, England, for gold ingots stolen from the Brink's-Mat high security warehouse in Heathrow, England, in 1983. It is believed that the ingots represent Kenneth Noye's share of the haul from the robbery.

Satanic stalker killed boy of 12 while out on bail

Article Abstract:

Edward Crowley has been jailed for life for the murder of 12-year-old Diego Pineiro-Villar. The murder took place shortly after Crowley had been released on bail, even though police and psychiatrists regarded him as dangerous.
