I don't want to go bald

Article Abstract:

Hair loss affects 50% of men by the time they are 40-years-old and many men are depressed by baldness, but good books on the subject are difficult to find. This could be because men tend not to purchase works on men's health. There are a number of causes of baldness, including genetic factors, poor diet, nervous hair pulling and rubbing too vigorously. Sufferers should establish the cause of their baldness prior to paying for treatments which may be expensive.

Hair we grow again - the bald facts

Article Abstract:

There has been a rise in cases of hair loss in women in the 1990s. As many as 30% of women in the western world are affected by genetic hair loss, and 72% of these also have a nutritional imbalance. Iron deficiency is a common cause of hair loss, but this can be relatively easily treated. Hair loss can also be caused by stress, which can be harder to manage. A traumatic event such as an accident can lead to significant hair loss after 12 weeks.

I don't want miracles, just my hair back

Article Abstract:

Miracle cures for baldness are exaggerated. Sufferers should consult qualified dermatologists rather than hair clinics. Few people receive cures. Clinics are highly expensive. Treatment includes hair grafting which is uncomfortable and expensive, topical minoxidil which is recognised by the Department of Health and various hair restoratives.
