UK: BT AIMS TO PUT BETTER SPIN ON EVENTS

Article Abstract:

British Telecom (BT) has hired the public relations company Brunswick in an attempt to convey a better public image. The appointment will involve Brunswick offering "background project advice" to BT's chief executive Sir Peter Bonfield, although it will not take over as BT's main City public relations adviser - that role will continue to be performed by Maitland Consultancy. Brunswick is well known for advising companies in trouble and in recent times has acted for Marks & Spencer and the London Stock Exchange.
