Who needs a cause celeb?

Article Abstract:

It is becoming increasingly common for charities to use celebrities in their fundraising campaigns. Similarly, celebrities are also keen to become associated with charities. Even a crayon can give a child comfort

Article Abstract:

David Grubb organises the charity 'Feed the Children.' He increases the value of donations by negotiating bulk deals with manufacturers. Lorries travel to Bosnia and Slovenia weekly. Sorting and methodical packing to save space are essential. Careful selection is necessary as refugees' pride and customs are important to them. After the bombs, the human cost

Article Abstract:

The eastern Bosnian town of Gorazde is part of the 'pocket' allocated to the Muslims in Serb-held territory under the Dayton peace agreement of Dec 1995. The town is now home to many Muslims who were evicted from their homes by the Serbs. They are living in extremely difficult conditions, and rely heavily on the charity Feed The Children, which supplies food parcels. They are unlikely ever to be able to return home.
