A cosmic cartographer; the Microwave Anisotropy Probe will give cosmologists a much sharper picture of the early universe
Article Abstract:
NASA is scheduled to launch a spacecraft in the summer of 2001 for what is being called the Microwave Anisotrophy Probe. This probe is designed to do no less than create the equivalent of a map of the early universe by recording the radiation from the cosmic microwave background.
