Culture and intellectual capital management: a key factor in successful ICM implementation

Article Abstract:

Studies have revealed that culture plays a major role in whether intellectual capital management (ICM) information remains proprietary or is disseminated to a larger audience. ICM deals with identification of the dynamic conversion of knowledge into IC. A survey of case studies of six companies has been conducted and its findings have indicated that both national culture and organizational affect the implementation of ICM.
