Delivered into providence

Article Abstract:

Directional-drilling techniques can help in the transportation of potable water from the west side reservoir on the Providence River to the Bristol County. The engineers have found a crossing site for horizontal directional drilling, so that a minimal length of the line transverses the river and nearby shoreline areas. Land-use and geotechnical issues have influenced the decision of entry and exit points of the directional drill. The construction of this crossing has risk of drill pipe failure and loss a drilling, and will require around six months.
