Kinetics of temperature-dependent photoinduced redox reactions in a photoelectrochemical cell

Article Abstract:

The influence of temperature on the kinetics of electrodes of photovoltage generation in photoelectrochemical cells was investigated using phenazine dyes. The results showed that the generated maximum photovoltages and the sunlight engineering efficiency increased with the temperature. The rate of the photoinduced chemical reaction also increased with the temperature. The near ultraviolet and visible parts of the solar spectrum can be used to enhance the photoelectrochemical effect in a photoelectrochemical cell.

Factories for the information age

Article Abstract:

Designing computer chip manufacturing facilities is a challenging task for structural engineers. Their primary consideration is designing a vibration-free environment, which can be achieved by using several kinds of foundation systems such as spread footings, mat foundations, caissons and piles. The design of the facility should also be able to support mechanical and electrical systems.
