Article Abstract:
The description of the achievements in the area of regio- and enantioselective molybdenum-catalyzed allelic alkylation reaction in the past few years is reviewed. The achievements gained so far in the area of molybdenum-catalyzed asymmetric allylic alkylations are also analyzed.

Asymmetric organocatalysis of structurally well-defined chiral quaternary ammonium fluorides
Article Abstract:
Organocatalysis of natural and unnatural ammonium fluorides in synthetically useful stereoselective bond-forming reactions is reviewed. Utilization of chiral quaternary ammonium bifluorides as organocatalysts in asymmetric synthesis is described.

Catalytic reduction of dinitrogen to ammonia at a single molybdenum center
Article Abstract:
The study describes the reduction of dinitrogen catalytically and selectively to ammonia in the presence of protons and electrons at room temperature and pressure. It is speculated that dinitrogen is reduced at molybdenum in FeMo nitrogenase.
