Article Abstract:

This article describes replacement construction of the I-95 New Haven Crossing Corridor, a massive highway and mass transit project. The construction of a three-level interchange replacing I-95, I-91, and Route 34 involves reconstruction of 13 bridges, two-lane interstate highways, and six lanes of I-95.

Narrow median, shoulders force expressway into the air

Article Abstract:

This article reports on the construction of three- lane elevated express roadway in a segmental precast box girder bridge style construction. The proposed expressway construction will be a major link between Tampa suburbs and the downtown business areas.

RIDOT to move interstate out of Providence

Article Abstract:

This article reports on the construction of a new interstate 195 highway about 1.5 miles at a cost of $310 million by the Rhode Island Department of Transportation. The new highway will be of straight design and includes 15 new bridges.
