Article Abstract:

A request for the proposal, towards the problem of traffic congestion creating safety hazards, delaying trips and increasing the quantity of air pollution on the 21 mi (33.8 km) corridor of U.S. Route 3 between Burlington, Massachusetts, and Nashua, New Hampshire is presented. The design/build project includes capacity and traffic safety improvements throughout the stretch of Route 3 from its interchange in Burlington with Interstate 95 and Route 128 to the New Hampshire border at Nashua.
