Numbers: prime or choice?

Article Abstract:

Positive real integers may be equated with another number of equal value by multiplying small integers called factors. Those numbers that have only two factors, including one and itself, are termed as prime and can be extracted through a systematic scheme developed by Erathosthenes.

A physicist believes the discovery of X-rays in Jan 1896 was the true beginning of innovations in physics. Researchers began experimenting with the X-rays, leading to further discoveries, including that of radium by Marie Curie. Electrons were discovered in 1899.
