Performance evaluation in the new economy: bringing the measurement and evaluation of intellectual capital into the management planning and control system

Article Abstract:

A generalized four-stage model for intellectual capital performance evaluation in the new economy is presented. The model includes a strategic phase, an analytic phase, an implementation phase and a feedback phase and is quite applicable to a wide range of industries and organizations. Intellectual capital valuation are unique to the environments in which they operate and the model is an attempt to generalize the concepts.
