Shrinking to enormity: DNA microarrays are reshaping basic biology -- but scientists fear they may soon drown in the data

Article Abstract:

DNA microarrays are microprocessor chips that contain thousands of encoded DNA probes. The technology, pioneered by Affymetrix in Silicon Valley, has the promise of increasing genetic research productivity dramatically. Many competing companies, including Motorola and Hitachi, have formed alliances to develop competing technology. The present status and usefulness of the devices is examined, and forecasts for future developments are presented.

Beyond physics: renowned scientists contemplate the evidence for God

Article Abstract:

Scientists continue to uncover evidence on the existence of God but some scientists are still skeptical on evidence and man's knowledge may be approaching a level when knowledge should be divided between religion and science.
