Systeme international yes, newton no

Article Abstract:

Engineers suggest that the use of a unit of specific acceleration instead of the newton as the unit of force might simplify Sir Isaac Newton's law of motion. Scientists and engineers can calculate force faster when using the acceleration of gravity which has length-time units. The proposed implementation of the Systeme Internationale or metric system will facilitate scientific calculations of force but the use of specific acceleration or actual acceleration will eliminate the need for additional conversions to newton units.
