Tilting wind turbine tower suits its site

Article Abstract:

A tilting wind turbine is the novel solution that researchers thought of when they needed an off-grid power source on Appledore Island, in the Gulf of Maine. The towers needed to tilt for the safety of migratory birds in autumn. The entire project cost $177,000 to build.

Sail-shaped office towers support wind turbines

Article Abstract:

Two office towers that are 240-m tall is near completion in Bahrain. The tower's design was inspired by a sail and the tower features three wind turbines that could generate up to 1,300 MW of power a year.
