Polar attributes of supercritical carbon dioxide

Article Abstract:

Supercritical carbon dioxide (scCO2) is increasingly promoted as an environmentally benign alternative to conventional organic solvents. Experimental and theoretical studies show that CO2 can participate in conventional and unconventional hydrogen bonds with various proton donor systems.

Photo-induced valence tautomerism in Co complexes

Article Abstract:

Photo-induced valence tautomerism in Co complexes when it is excited by 532nm light is described. At low temperatures metastable redox isomers can be created after irradiation of Co and these transformations can involve changes in the magnetic properties as well as color.
