Atherosclerosis is associated with delirium after coronary artery bypass graft surgery

Article Abstract:

A study on the link between delirium and atherosclerosis in aorta, cartoid arteries, and coronary arteries after coronary artery bypass graft surgery in male veterans is presented. Nearly 41.7 percent of subjects developed delirium and significant relation between delirium and atherosclerosis was observed.

Nursing home capabilities and decisions to hospitalize: a survey of medical directors and directors of nursing

Article Abstract:

The results of a survey on the attitudes of medical directors and directors of nursing relating to hospitalization are presented. The study also discusses the factors that influence their decisions to hospitalize the residents of nursing home.

Receipt of exercise counseling by older women

The National Health Interview Survey (NHIS) conducted among 385 women aged about 50 years, reveals that the receipt of clinician exercise or late-life exercise counseling in older people is low.
