The objectives of waste management in India: a futures inquiry

Article Abstract:

A survey of waste management goals in India was conducted within an aggregate and sectoral framework. The investigation, which used consensus strategies, looked at present and future objectives to develop intent structures of objectives for waste management. These intent structures were then used to create a hierarchy of actions using interpretative structural modeling. Lastly, indirect and direct relations between objectives were studied.

A decision support system to aid scenario construction for sizing and timingmarketplaces

Article Abstract:

An analysis of a decision support system is presented. The analysis establishes the need for such a system which will explain marketplace possibilities of sizeand time. The methodology presented focuses on the customer for product class under consideration and the transition of a marketplace life cycle for such a class. It is shown that a vital difference between the two variables emerge as part of the marketplace life cycle.
