Expatriate games: Interorganizational coordination and international counterterrorism

Article Abstract:

International counterterrorism is practically impossible in the absence of interorganizational coordination. Unfortunately interorganizational coordination does not arise spontaneously, instead managers should develop externally oriented cultures and cooperative institutional objectives, which ideally should be accountable to international institutions.

Complexity and counterterrorism: Thinking about biometrics

Biometrics, which relies on physical characteristics to identify individuals, enjoys growing support as a counterterrorist tool. Advocates of biometrics are able to make powerful claims that play to public perceptions of risk in general, and the threat of terrorism in particular.
