Article Abstract:

The efficacy of parental involvement in the treatment of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in children was tested through a meta-analysis of sixteen published studies. Findings indicated that the impact of treatment on ADHD was low as compared to comparison and control conditions, whereas child-internalizing symptoms and academic problems were better affected by family involvement.
