What makes for a good start? Consequences of occupation-specific higher education for career mobility: Germany and Great Britain compared

The organization of professional and management training influences graduate career mobility in Great Britain and Germany that are very different in their degree of occupational specificity and to find out the way in which occupational specificity is important in the labor market careers is discussed.

Make it or break it - Women's career interruptions in the age of professional migration: analysis of German female migrants to the United States

Migration of women to a foreign country that has a long lasting impact on their careers and their children as they are often not allowed to work and are treated as dependents of their husbands in the new country is discussed.

Between tradition and modernization: attitudes toward women's employment and gender roles in Croatia

An analysis of attitudes toward women's employment in Croatia showed a traditional outlook towards domestic division of labor between men and women but increasing support for women's participation in labor market.
