Left ventricular wall motion during diastolic filling in endurance-trained athletes

Article Abstract:

This article compares the wall motion of the left heart ventricle during diastolic filling in trained athletes and sedentary adults. Findings indicate that increases in left ventricular mass and volume associated with physical training do not significantly affect regional wall motion during the diastolic filling phase of the left ventricle.

Cardiovascular, metabolic, and hormonal parameters in professional tennis players

Article Abstract:

This article examines the aerobic capacity, metabolism and cardiovascular health of professional tennis players. The authors suggest that programs for tennis players should be designed to improve glycolytic and oxidative muscular metabolism.

The relationship of left ventricular to Femoral artery structure in male athletes

Article Abstract:

The existence of morphologic changes in the peripheral vessels in athletes is analyzed, with the help of an experiment. The study also explores the relationship between cardiac and arterial changes. The findings of this study are mentioned in detail.
