Play it again, Ralph!

Article Abstract:

The sweet spot: how draft position of the headsail affects performance and handling

Article Abstract:

Higher pointing and greater top-end speed can be achieved if the draft is located more or less in the aft of the headsail. This is effective particularly in flat water. Better acceleration and a wider steering groove is attained if the draft is somewhat forward.
