The skinny on swing weight

Article Abstract:

The stationary weight of a tennis racket differs from its weight when it is in motion. Determining the swing weight of a racket is important because weight is one of the elements, along with racquet length and balance point, that determine whether a racquet plays light or heavy. Swing weight is best measured by the Babolat Racquet Diagnostic Center.

It's shortsighted to limit racquet length

Article Abstract:

The International Tennis Federation's rule reducing the maximum-length of tennis racquets to 29 in. from 32 in. will adversely affect the sport. The new standard will make it harder for newcomers to improve their skills and may deter others from entering the sport.
