John Sunderland

Article Abstract:

Heritage designer John Sunderland is most well known for his work on Jorvik at York. However, he has been involved in many other projects, and is currently designing the Celtica attraction in mid-Wales. He has seen demand for his work rise as projects anticipate National Lottery funding. He believes that the most important element of his job is to ensure that heritage can come across to ordinary people in a non-patronising way.
