It is also seeking hotels in Africa, the Caribbean and Asia. The company also provides free telephone lines and member hotels have access to a database for rapid updates of availability and prices.

McHotel concept opens first properties in Switzerland

Article Abstract:

McDonald's has opened the first of its hotels in Ruemlang, Switzerland. The Golden Arch Hotel, which is situated near Zuerich Airport, and which has 211 beds, features motorised rotating beds, high-speed multi-media systems with internet access, and a McDonald's restaurant.
