Glasshouse tours. (manufacturing leisure attraction, Langham Glass, Norfolk, England)_

Article Abstract:

An 18th century Norfolk barn has been converted to provide a glass manufacturing leisure attraction. A Rural Development Commission grant contributed 15,000 pounds sterling to the enterprise. The centre contributes to the local economy by providing employment and training in a traditional craft. A Business Commitment to the Environment award has recognised environmentally sound practices. Visitors may observe the manufacturing process carried out by hand. The income from tourism has helped offset the fall in income from recession.
