Golf industry experts in the United Kingdom predict that approximately 750 million pounds sterling of investments will be lost because many of the new golf courses are experiencing financial difficulties. Only 12 golf courses are currently under receivership although many more organisations are expected to follow. A report by the Golf Research Group outlines these predictions and has been criticised for its contents because of fears that confidence in the industry will be affected.
