Rickshaw ride back to tradition

Article Abstract:

China's capital Beijing is home to 11 million people and 8 million bicycles. First-time visitors to the capital who wish to see the older areas of the city should take a rickshaw tour through the hutong areas, where they will see the traditional courtyards surrounded by family houses in narrow lanes . However, urban development programs mean that many of these areas are being lost, although some are being preserved.
