Stepping up

Article Abstract:

Bench stepping has become increasingly popular in the UK, and those setting up such classes need to think of safety above all, both in terms of techniques used by consumers, and in terms of the equipment and facilities provided. Within the broad field of bench stepping, music is commonly used to accompany the exercise, and there are many sub-divisions aimed at different client groups, or providing different types of stepping exercise, such as stepping with weights. The trend is likely to help boost the market for sports.

Three dimensions

Article Abstract:

Use of special effects in theme parks is governed by safety, reliability and maintenance considerations. Imaginative technological application is essential as their success depends on natural integration into the attraction. Different techniques may be necessary to obtain optimum effect as consumers have sophisticated expectations. Special effects should be selected at the design stage as special back-up services may be necessary.
