Susie Cornell

Article Abstract:

The majority of people who are diagnosed as having multiple sclerosis (MS) are told to rest, but in fact exercise could be a much better way of dealing with the condition, according to Susie Cornell, who was diagnosed with MS many years ago. She believes that muscle tone is vital, but that most gyms are unable to provide the right facilities for people with MS who wish to build up their muscle tone. This prompted her to set up her own gym, which is now being extended to offer a wide range of health and lifestyle facilities.

The report is expected to make physicians recommend patients to take exercise regularly. Technogym is sponsoring the IHRSA's Institute on Exercise and Health which will give members up-to-date information on health and medicine.
