Alligator serenade

Article Abstract:

Kent Vliet is a noted crocodile researcher from the University of Florida. He conducts his study at the St. Augustine Alligator Farm in Florida where scientists can research on crocodiles and breed endangered species. He has made some unusual observations about alligators in his studies. He has discovered that crocodiles serenade each other. He has also found that the brains of alligators are small compared to the size of their bodies.

Welcome back otter

Article Abstract:

Otters are returning to New York's Otselic River after a hundred years. The project drew about 200 people, including children who assisted in raising money for the program. Organizers planned to relocate otters in 1975, but financing such a project was difficult. By 1995, attitudes had changed and state biologists held public meetings to discuss their project with interested groups.
