Al's army

Article Abstract:

Al Gore has found a lot of volunteers, like Mark McCaffrey, who spread his messages of climate change and crisis, in order to generate awareness among the common public to face and avoid global warming. The author suggests many more of such programs and seminars to educate people, specially the youth, about what is happening in the world, so that they can take preventive steps to avoid any damages in the future.

Whale fall

Article Abstract:

'Whale falls' are communities of creatures that thrive among the sulphur-laden ooze of decaying whales and bring a host of nutrients to the sea floor. These communities can survive for up to a century by sucking the fats and sulphides and the bacteria that make their home on whale falls are so good at degrading fat in cold waters that their enzymes might prove useful in cold-water detergents.
