In pursuit of comprehension

Article Abstract:

The editorial staff is trying to improve the readability of the articles and letters appearing in the periodical Nature, by focussing on the clarity of the introductory summaries of letters to editors. Authors are encouraged to include uncommon terms in their introductions. The magazine was established to bring the scientists and researchers closer to each other. This promoted the use of private language in papers by authors. This exclusiveness is against the purpose of the magazine to make scientific work accessible to the public and provide information about advances made in the sciences.
