Putting theory into practice: Wildlife health in conservation

Article Abstract:

The role of conservation biologists working in disciplines ranging from field biology to policy making in facilitating a transition towards a new conservation paradigm that includes wildlife health is presented. This paradigm shift could help to understand the significance of wildlife health and disease, and turn it into practical actions that could help preserve wildlife more effectively.
