The stability and durability of Platinum RTS qPCR Supermixes

Article Abstract:

A proprietary, temperature-controlled lyophilization process of platinum that ensures stability of the room temperature stable (RTS) reagents during long-term storage and transportation at ambient temperature, while maintaining their superior efficiency and specificity is developed. It was found that RTS reagents provide the same high performance level as aqueous counterparts in addition to providing added convenience, flexibility and stability.

Atomic tracking

Article Abstract:

The photodissociation of iodine dissolved in carbon tetrachloride at the level of picoseconds is monitored. This reaction has been examined extensively as a model of the competition between two modes of recombination for the iodine atoms whether the photodissociated atoms are trapped by the solvent and recombine with each other or whether the iodine atoms escape their cage of solvent and recombine with other iodine atoms.

Analysis of Platinum Blue PCR Supermix confirms performance and suitability for downstream applications

Article Abstract:

Platinum Blue PCR Supermix contains all the components included in Platinum PCR Supermix, plus an inert premixed blue tracking dye and precipitant. Platinum Blue PCR Supermix was used to amplify targets as large as 5 kb from standard genomic DNA, confirming that addition of the dye did not affect PCR integrity.
