Jury awards $150 million in Miss. fen-phen case

American Home Products Corp. been levied with a $150 million judgement in a lawsuit stemming from health problems associated with its diet drug fen-phen. The jury determined that the pharmaceutical firm concealed key data about harmful effects of the diet drug in awarding five persons $30 million each in compensatory damages.
