Kestnbaum wins Chicago award
Article Abstract:
Kentsbaum and Co executive vice president Kate Kestnbaum has been named the Chicago Assn of Direct Marketing's 2001 Charles S Downs Direct Marketer of the Year. Kestnbaum, who has worked with Kentsbaum and Co for 27 years, won the award because of her notable contributions to the catalog business, including the creation of new methods for analysis of catalog merchandising. She is the first woman to receive the award.

Office depot hears the Latin beat
Article Abstract:
The direct mailing company Office Depot as part of an integrated marketing effort designed mails in bilingual format in Spanish and English. Recognizing the importance of the Hispanic school going children and their parents as a target group they included Spanish in their mailing list for the Back to School campaign.
