Metris, HealthCare Credit.com debut co-branded credit card

Article Abstract:

Metris Cos and HealthCare Credit.com have formed an alliance to issue a co-branded credit card, which can be used mainly as a vehicle for healthcare discounts. The card will be marketed as a supplement to basic health plans or to employees with no insurance. The card will be promoted through Internet ads and direct response television ads. The partnership gives Metris another product to sell to its 3.5 million customers, while disount healthcare company HealthCare benefits by tapping into Metris' customer base.

RTMS, Yankelovich announce data partnership

Retail Target Marketing Systems Inc (RTMS) of Waukesha, WI, and Norwalk, CT-based Yankelovich Partners Inc have formed an alliance to bring a software that would help direct marketers improve sales and customer relationships. Under the deal, RTMS' Archer software will include Yankelovich's Monitor data, which can be used to better target customers. The software aims to provide retail clients the capability to form a sophisticated means of modelling patterns of customer behaviors.
