Snyder pulls back expansion abroad

Direct marketing and advertising company Snyder Communications Inc of Bethesda, MD, announced its plans to reduce the number of new acquisitions and to reorganize its foreign and domestic operations. Under the new structure, Arnold Communications, Brann Worldwide and Bounty SCA Worldwide will handle the advertising and PR operations, traditional direct marketing, and target marketing services, respectively. The company has also retained investment banking firm Deutsche Bank Alex. Brown to advise the company in its strategy to seek ways to maximize shareholder value.
