A controlled parenting skills outcome study examining individual difference and attendance affects
Article Abstract:
Parents' protective tendencies and their general child management skills were evaluated. Targeted parenting outcome and mothers' self-efficacy were predicted based on parents' level of intervention attendance and their attitude toward parenting change. The targeted parenting outcome had a significant impact on parents' general child management skills. Findings also revealed significant correlation between intervention attendance and intervention-targeted parenting behaviors at pretest for fathers.
