California Zinfandel passes terroir truth test

Matt Kramer held a seminar at the November, 1998 California Wine Experience in San Francisco, CA. Kramer extolled the virtues of the Zinfandel grape and wine. Considered an American grape, Zinfandel has a welcoming ambiance despite its distinctive flavor. Zinfandel's taste and qualities shine through even in blended wines.
