Linear wage curves and switching points
Article Abstract:
Switching points from one linear wage curve to another is not generally possible, using methods differing in a sole production process, though switching points is possible using a decomposable model of the Samuelson kind. Samuelson models refer to a minimum of three industries or commodities. The diversity involved in switching to one method from another in the activated investment goods industry and the type of production used in the consumer good which is employed, allows switch points to be made from one technique to another, whether or not they are linear.
